Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Software Engineer (Storage) to build a next-generation storage platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable, reliable backend systems for storage services
• Optimize and evolve bare-metal Linux storage services operating at multi-petabyte scale
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address real-world issues in a distributed environment

Required Qualifications

• Proficiency in Java, Linux, and microservices architectures
• Experience with distributed databases and event-driven systems using Kafka or RabbitMQ
• Strong understanding of low-level storage concepts including filesystems and caching
• Familiarity with backend fundamentals such as load balancers and REST APIs
• Experience in building and running large-scale distributed platforms
