Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Software Engineer - Risk, Fraud and Disputes.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance the risk engine and decisioning systems
• Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of complex distributed systems
• Participate in a rotational on-call pager duty as part of the engineering role

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend engineering experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 3 years with an advanced degree, or 8+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
• Experience in software development (Java) and microservices architecture with real-time event-based processing
• Platform engineering experience, preferably with AWS, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
• Experience deploying and maintaining distributed systems on AWS
• Familiarity with Agile Scrum and Test-Driven Development (TDD)
