Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Software Engineer - Enterprise API Platform (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain API proxies and gateways using Google Apigee and Azure API Management
• Develop API policies and automation using JavaScript and C# while managing API specifications based on OpenAPI best practices
• Monitor API traffic and performance, resolve integration issues, and support internal and external API consumers through Developer Portals

Qualifications and Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in API platform or middleware integration
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Google Apigee and Azure API Management
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, OpenAPI/Swagger, and API-first development approaches
• Familiarity with modern API security protocols such as OAuth 2.0 and JWT
• Experience contributing to Agile processes and supporting developer onboarding
