Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Software Engineer (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Perform technical design, coding, and testing of Java applications while ensuring compliance with DevOps and CI/CD standards
• Conduct software analysis, gather requirements, and develop automated tests aligned with design specifications
• Build and maintain Java-based solutions, support existing systems, and mentor junior engineers

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science, or 4 years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree
• 5 years of experience in software development and 3 years in Healthcare or Payer Industries
• Advanced knowledge of Java and related frameworks (e.g., Spring, Hibernate)
• Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with database technologies (SQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
