Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Software Engineer, Platform Engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with various teams to optimize their software development lifecycle for speed, safety, and reliability
• Manage and support systems that handle over 1 trillion user-generated events monthly, ensuring low end-to-end latencies
• Oversee cloud environment administration, including Terraform, cost management, networking, and security best practices

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of coding experience
• Expert in at least one programming language ecosystem, preferably Go, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript
• Production experience managing Kubernetes at scale
• Experience with infrastructure management in a major cloud provider, preferably Google Cloud Platform
• Proficiency with observability solutions like OpenTelemetry and Prometheus
