Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Software Engineer specializing in API Development.

Key Responsibilities

• Research, construct, develop, and test complex software applications
• Analyze user needs and design software solutions accordingly
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Minimum high school diploma with eight years of progressive software systems programming experience, five of which should involve Java server programming with J2EE/JEE technologies; a Bachelor's degree is preferred
• Strong knowledge of Java and related technologies such as JDBC, JSP/Servlets, and React
• Detailed knowledge of object-oriented programming concepts and design patterns
• Experience with relational databases, SQL, and advanced XML technologies
• Knowledge of infrastructure security and experience in the healthcare claims and insurance industry is preferred
