Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Craft a technical strategy for search, leveraging various technologies and algorithms
• Improve search latency and relevance across products
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver customer value

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in backend software development for production systems
• Experience in designing or architecting systems within the search/information-retrieval domain
• Proficiency with search technologies such as Lucene, Elasticsearch/OpenSearch, Vector Databases, NLP, and LLMs
• Experience serving as a senior engineer or tech lead, with mentoring capabilities
• U.S. Person status required for access to U.S. only data systems
