Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Software Engineer, Cloud Foundations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of features for the Cloud Operational API, Temporal Workflows, and data pipelines
• Drive architectural discussions to ensure scalability, reliability, and efficiency of services
• Mentor team engineers and improve tools, processes, and engineering practices

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with at least 3 years in scalable distributed systems
• Strong understanding of distributed systems concepts such as consensus, concurrency, and fault tolerance
• Proficiency in writing concurrent code in languages like Go, Java, or similar
• Experience designing and operating production systems in a cloud environment (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Track record of driving projects from concept through design, implementation, and operations
