Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Software Engineer, Core Systems & Finance.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and design data models and systems related to financial ledgering
• Integrate open source and commercial ledgering, reconciliation, accounting, and reporting systems
• Diagram and document complex financial systems and flows while reducing complexity through refactoring and simplification

Required Qualifications

• Senior level experience with SQL, data modeling, REST APIs, and event-driven systems
• At least 5 years of total software development experience, including 2 years at a financial institution or fintech
• Experience with NodeJS is preferred; senior level experience in a similar environment is acceptable
• AWS experience is a significant plus
• Demonstrated history of high bandwidth communication in a fully remote setting
