Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Software Engineer, API Governance.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and maintain API standards and lifecycle guidelines for HTTP and gRPC services
• Create tooling within CI/CD systems to generate and validate API specifications and publish them to the registry
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to promote the usage of API standards and ensure consistent implementation

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
• 5+ years of experience building distributed systems using Golang, Java, or Python
• Comprehensive understanding of API specifications and extensive experience defining standards for gRPC and HTTP APIs
• Experience designing tooling for API governance, including Protobuf linters and automated generation of stubs/mocks
