Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Software Engineer, Database Infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build core infrastructure for database solutions
• Serve as a subject matter expert on MySQL and database administration
• Develop and maintain tooling for database systems and document best practices

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Software Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent education and experience
• 3+ years of experience using monitoring tools to diagnose performance issues
• 3+ years of experience building and maintaining databases at scale, such as MySQL or PostgreSQL
• Experience in production software coding in multiple programming languages
• Familiarity with database internals and change management, especially database migrations
