Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr. Software Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, create, and maintain software and systems to enhance service availability, scalability, and efficiency
• Set architectural direction for infrastructure and platform services while supporting the engineering organization
• Participate in rotating on-call duties and troubleshoot critical systems throughout the SDLC

Required Qualifications

• Extensive fluency in AWS and Linux
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Go, PHP, and Javascript
• Expertise in large-scale distributed systems and web technologies like DNS, TLS, HTTP/S, and TCP/IP
• Demonstrable knowledge of operating and observing microservices in a production cloud environment
• Ability to decompose complex problems and understand necessary tradeoffs
