Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Software Engineer (Canada).

Key Responsibilities

• Designing, building, and running cloud-native microservices in Go for a real-time payments platform
• Ensuring systems are highly available, low-latency, and scalable, capable of handling billions of payment requests
• Taking full ownership of services from design and implementation to deployment and production support

Required Qualifications

• Deep understanding of designing and building distributed systems
• Familiarity with cloud and containerization technologies, test automation tools, and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with Go and a mindset focused on using the right tool for the job
• Interest in owning projects end-to-end and supporting them in production
• Appreciation of clean code and software engineering best practices
