Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to design and evolve distributed backend systems for their influencer marketing platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Own backend features end-to-end, including discovery, design, implementation, and operations
• Design and evolve distributed systems with a focus on performance, scalability, and resiliency
• Build and maintain APIs and data access patterns supporting analytics and search use cases

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in building and scaling backend systems, with distributed systems experience expected at a senior level
• Strong JVM fundamentals and ability to troubleshoot and performance-tune production services
• Production experience with Kotlin and strong SQL + data modeling skills (PostgreSQL)
• Experience with event-driven architectures (Kafka) and cloud deployment on AWS; familiarity with containers (Docker/Kubernetes)
• Comfort with AI-assisted engineering and a disciplined approach to validate outcomes
