Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join their remote team in South Africa.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate within cross-functional feature teams to enhance applications and backend services
• Write quality code, review technical designs, and improve system monitoring and health
• Build relationships with other engineering teams and influence the technical roadmap

Required Qualifications

• Experience with React Native mobile development and building backend services at scale
• Strong understanding of modern development frameworks including Spring, Python, TypeScript, NodeJS, and React Native
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Kotlin, TypeScript, or Swift
• Familiarity with tools like Grafana, Loki, Bitrise, Firebase, Kubernetes, and AWS cloud
• Experience working in a cross-functional team and adapting to shifting priorities
