Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Senior System Software Engineer - Release Automation and Process Modernization.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain release automation pipelines using GitLab CI/CD
- Evaluate existing processes, identify modernization opportunities, and design process improvements
- Support and extend conda-forge release automation infrastructure for Python packages
Required Qualifications
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in software delivery, release automation, or DevOps
- Strong expertise in CI/CD pipeline development with GitLab or similar platforms
- Experience with package management systems such as RPM, Debian, or Python wheels
- Proficiency in Python or other scripting languages for building automation tools
