Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and maintain backend functionality for scalable services.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement core backend service features for Nexus
• Provide test coverage for unit, integration, and performance for feature ownership areas
• Document design choices and operational knowledge for service deployment and operation

Required Qualifications

• At least 6 years of experience in a production environment with scalable distributed systems
• Solid computer science fundamentals in distributed systems concepts, including multi-threading and concurrency
• 2+ years of experience developing customer-facing APIs and frameworks
• Experience writing concurrent code in production with languages like Go or Java
