Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Software Engineer I.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate Go microservices for seller listings, pricing, payments, and fulfillment
• Own features end-to-end, including technical design, deployment, monitoring, and iteration
• Debug and resolve production issues across asynchronous, multi-service workflows

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend software engineering experience with proficiency in Go and/or Ruby on Rails
• Experience with event-driven systems and understanding of retry strategies and eventual consistency
• Proficiency with gRPC / Protocol Buffers for service communication
• Hands-on experience with DynamoDB or similar NoSQL databases and strong relational database experience (PostgreSQL)
• Fluency with observability platforms for debugging distributed services in production
