Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to lead front-end engineering efforts within the Liferay DXP layer of a Veteran-facing platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Liferay DXP themes, portlets, and fragments
• Debug complex issues across the Liferay request lifecycle and troubleshoot OSGi module behavior
• Leverage AI tooling to enhance engineering productivity and improve code quality

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience
• 6+ years building front-end solutions on Liferay DXP (7.x preferred)
• Strong expertise in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and Java web fundamentals (JSP, Servlets)
• Demonstrated ability to debug Liferay request lifecycle issues and OSGi module interactions
• Proficiency using AI tooling to accelerate engineering workflows and improve code quality
