Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Software Engineer (Backend, Data at Scale).

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain high performance APIs and backend services used at scale
• Design background services and data processing workflows for large datasets
• Collaborate with data engineers and data scientists on AWS and Databricks

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience with a strong backend focus
• Experience building and running production systems at scale
• Strong experience in Python, Go, or Java; experience in multiple languages is a plus
• Solid understanding of API design, distributed systems, and service-oriented architectures
• Familiarity with AWS and cloud-based architectures
