Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build backend services that are performant, scalable, and reliable
• Lead the technical design and implementation of complex features from product requirements through deployment
• Provide mentorship to junior engineers and improve engineering practices around code quality and deployment

Required Qualifications

• 5-8 years of professional software engineering experience, particularly with Ruby on Rails
• Proven experience in delivering complex, multi-component features in a team environment
• Expert-level proficiency in Ruby on Rails and strong skills in PostgreSQL
• Experience with API design, background job processing, and containerization tools like Docker
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and observability practices
