Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to support a modernization initiative transforming legacy systems into cloud-native services.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, event-driven backend systems and APIs using Java and AWS
• Migrate legacy Oracle database structures into service-owned data stores
• Participate in code reviews, load testing, and performance optimization

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience at Senior Software Engineer level or higher
• Expert-level Java development skills
• Strong experience with service-oriented and event-driven architectures
• Proven cloud-native development experience (AWS preferred)
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS services
