Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Software Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Own features from detection through production, including extension, backend, and pipeline code
• Write content scripts for web page interaction and background scripts for coordination
• Build backend services for event ingestion, enrichment, and alerting

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience across multiple areas
• Understanding of browser functionality, including DOM APIs and SPA routing
• Experience building browser extensions with knowledge of content/background script architecture
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, comfortable in Python, and willing to work in Rust
• Experience with data at scale, including event streaming and high-throughput ingestion
