Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join their Storage Engineering team focused on building Apache Ozone.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement core features of Apache Ozone and Apache Ratis
• Contribute code and design documentation to the Apache open-source community
• Support enterprise customers with large-scale big data analytics and ML/AI pipelines

Required Qualifications

• BS, MS, or Ph.D. in Computer Science
• Masters +3 years or Bachelors +5 years of relevant industry experience
• Strong backend engineering skills in Java or C++ with intermediate Java skills
• Experience in system software design and development
• Familiarity with large-scale distributed systems and performance tuning
