Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and optimize a large-scale analytics platform running on AWS.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and enhance existing software modules for the product suite
• Design, document, and implement new features and components
• Develop scalable, secure, and cost-efficient solutions using core AWS services

Required Qualifications

• BS or MS in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years of software engineering or data engineering experience, with at least 3 years in cloud-based analytics or distributed systems
• Experience designing and operating large-scale data pipelines on analytics platforms
• Strong proficiency in Python, Scala, or Java for building data and platform components
• 3+ years' experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and services, especially those used in data engineering and analytics
