Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Software Engineer for its Core Infrastructure team.

Key Responsibilities

• Write and maintain production Python services for handling billions of daily requests
• Design systems with considerations for failure modes, cost, and performance, and oversee their deployment
• Build infrastructure tooling and automation to enhance team efficiency

Required Qualifications

• Strong Python development skills with experience in writing clean, maintainable production code
• 5+ years of experience with a major cloud provider, preferably GCP
• Fluency in infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or OpenTofu
• Familiarity with Linux operating systems
• Experience with operational ownership and triaging production incidents
