Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join their team.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain Java-based backend services for carrier connectivity and partner integrations
• Modernize legacy Java applications and implement high-volume processing pipelines with robust state management
• Take ownership of services in production and participate in architecture reviews to ensure scalability and maintainability

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of backend engineering experience with a strong focus on Java
• Experience in upgrading and modernizing legacy Java codebases
• Strong understanding of event-driven architectures and ability to refactor batch-oriented workflows
• Familiarity with cloud ecosystems (GCP or AWS) and message queuing systems
• Degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience preferred
