Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Software Engineer - Java Full Stack.

Key Responsibilities

• Enhance and support existing legacy claims applications and migrate to a cloud-native architecture
• Design, develop, and maintain applications using Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful APIs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and ensure adherence to API and architecture standards

Required Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Java, JSP, Spring MVC, and Spring Boot
• Experience with Tomcat application servers and designing REST APIs
• Solid understanding of relational databases, preferably Sybase and/or PostgreSQL
• Experience with AWS services and Docker containerization
• CI/CD experience using GitLab and familiarity with UNIX shell scripting
