Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Software Engineer for the Chef product.

Key Responsibilities

• Support improvements to core products, including Infra client and Chef 360
• Drive the successful implementation of specific product areas and collaborate with stakeholders
• Provide Kubernetes support and assist with legacy product upgrades

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience with 3+ years in software development
• Experience with systems software development on Windows or Linux operating systems
• Deep software development skills in at least one systems development language, preferably Rust or Go
• Familiarity with modern technology stacks and experience in building high-performance systems
• Working experience with containers and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes
