Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to maintain and enhance a large-scale desktop application for municipal workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance a Visual Basic 6.0 desktop application supporting core municipal workflows
• Diagnose and resolve issues within a complex, interconnected codebase
• Support incremental modernization efforts while managing multi-tenant database environments

Required Qualifications

• Strong experience with Visual Basic 6.0 or similar legacy technologies
• Deep understanding of Windows-based application architecture
• Experience with relational databases, preferably SQL Server
• Experience supporting business-critical production systems
• Must reside in and be authorized to work in the United States
