Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr Software Engineer, Back-End.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build a centralized billing system for merchant billing and partner payments
• Implement secure APIs for billing events and payment processing using PHP and Go
• Lead the migration of the legacy Code Igniter 2 codebase to Code Igniter 4

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in building backend applications with PHP and Go
• Experience with billing, payments, or financial systems in a production SaaS environment
• Educational background in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Strong understanding of secure coding practices and API design patterns
• Experience with cloud-based technologies, preferably GCP
