Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join an Agile product team focused on building and enhancing web applications for financial professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex software systems and applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior and mid-level engineers, including mentoring and code reviews

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 8+ years of professional experience in software development
• Strong proficiency in Java and experience with backend frameworks, e.g., Spring
• Experience developing front-end applications using Knockout.js
• Strong understanding of relational and NoSQL database systems
