Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Software Engineer, Data Platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and extend batch pipelines using dbt and Dagster for data transformations and orchestration
• Develop and optimize BigQuery data models to support analytics and reporting use cases
• Advance real-time streaming capabilities by implementing and maintaining Kafka/PubSub + Flink pipelines

Required Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in SQL and data modeling
• Hands-on experience with dbt and batch orchestration tools like Dagster or Airflow
• Proficiency in Python for data engineering tasks
• Deep familiarity with BigQuery or equivalent cloud-native data warehouse tools
• Solid experience with GCP infrastructure and core services
