Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Software Engineer, Compute Platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver software solutions in Go to enhance the compute infrastructure's availability and scalability
• Develop Kubernetes controllers and operators for automating cluster management and workload scheduling
• Build core tooling and SDKs for network configurations and compute capacity tracking across a multi-region fleet

Required Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in developing internet-scale software with a focus on infrastructure and distributed systems
• Proficient in Go and experienced in building and managing Kubernetes services at scale
• Expertise in Linux internals, including multi-tenancy primitives like cgroups and namespaces
• Active contributor to the open-source community, preferably in the infrastructure or CNCF domain
• Self-starter capable of troubleshooting complex issues and managing large projects independently
