Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Software Engineer (Perl).

Key Responsibilities

• Own the codebase and collaborate on architecture decisions with the Director of Engineering
• Manage releases and deployments, proposing improvements towards automated processes
• Contribute to infrastructure improvements and adopt established engineering processes

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of production experience in Perl, including mod_perl and CPAN module management
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Apache Solr for search and indexing
• Solid understanding of Linux-based server environments and infrastructure configuration
• Experience with relational databases, preferably MariaDB or MySQL
• Proven experience working within an Agile Scrum methodology
