Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Senior Software Engineer is a remote, full-time position responsible for developing and maintaining application code, mentoring junior engineers, and driving improvements in software engineering processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrates expertise and ownership of contributions to the application code base
• Mentors junior engineers and participates in technical interviews
• Communicates technical issues effectively with team members and stakeholders

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of engineering experience, with relevant experience potentially substituting for education
• Expert-level knowledge in at least one technical area (frontend, backend, or infrastructure engineering)
• Ability to diagnose and resolve issues within owned systems
• Strong influential skills to propose and evaluate technical solutions
• Experience in mentoring and guiding less experienced team members
