Job Summary

Senior Software Engineer, responsible for building and enhancing a tax engine in a full-time remote position, collaborating with tax experts to ensure accuracy and efficiency in software development.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain the system that supports the tax engine, focusing on agent tooling and test infrastructure
• Collaborate closely with tax experts to understand filing requirements and incorporate their insights into system development
• Develop and extend APIs for integration with AI labs and modern firms, ensuring usability for engineers

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with project ownership from spec to scale
• Hands-on experience in domains requiring high accuracy and correctness
• Ability to bridge engineering with non-engineering domains, fostering collaboration with domain experts
• Proficiency in AI tools and understanding their application in software development
• Comfortable working across the tech stack, including backend, frontend, and infrastructure
