Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a pragmatic Senior Software Engineer in a full-time remote capacity, the successful candidate will design and build reliable, scalable software, including backend APIs, while collaborating with stakeholders to transform functional visions into actionable roadmaps.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain public APIs as part of the API Product suite
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support internal business units through shared engineering services
• Work on complex engineering problems to enhance technical skills and project management capabilities

Required qualifications

• Experience designing and building scalable systems, web applications, APIs, and services
• Understanding of storage systems, including relational databases like Postgres
• Demonstrated ability to bridge customer needs with technical and product requirements
• High degree of initiative and ownership with adaptability to change
• Experience working collaboratively in a diverse, cross-functional environment
