Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Senior Software Engineer to join the remote Actionable Intelligence Team, focusing on developing AI-powered product experiences that enhance customer decision-making and streamline workflows using Ruby on Rails and React.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and iterate on AI-driven product experiences within Fleetio's Rails and React application
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify customer challenges and implement AI solutions
• Prototype quickly and assess the effectiveness of features, mentoring other engineers in best practices

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with Ruby on Rails
• 5+ years of experience with ReactJS and TypeScript
• Proficiency in HTML & CSS for dynamic UX workflows and custom UI components
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and relational databases like PostgreSQL
• Ability to translate ambiguous product opportunities into clear, measurable outcomes
