Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

To lead the design and implementation of scalable systems, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will work remotely, focusing on backend development using Node and React technologies while providing technical guidance to junior engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable and maintainable systems, ensuring alignment with business requirements
• Write efficient code and develop RESTful APIs, focusing on backend services and SQL database optimization
• Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and conduct code reviews to uphold coding standards

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 10+ years of professional software development experience, primarily with Node and React technologies
• Deep proficiency in Node.js, including experience with Express.js or similar frameworks
• Advanced SQL skills with experience in PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server
• Experience designing and documenting RESTful APIs, with familiarity in GraphQL or tRPC as a plus
