Job Summary

Collaborating with a dynamic product team, the full-time remote Senior Software Engineer will develop and maintain applications, write efficient code, and drive the technical vision for key product areas to enhance reading engagement for users worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with product team members to develop and maintain applications and features
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while driving the technical vision for scalable systems
• Champion engineering best practices through code reviews and mentorship of teammates

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience
• Expert knowledge of Ruby on Rails and proficiency with front-end technologies like JavaScript and React
• Strong experience with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL
• Experience maintaining applications in a cloud environment
• BA/BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
