Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Collaborating with a dynamic product team, the remote Senior Software Engineer will develop and maintain applications while driving the technical vision for key product areas and ensuring code quality through best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with product team members to develop and maintain applications and features
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code across the full stack, ensuring thorough testing and documentation
• Drive the technical vision by designing scalable and reliable systems, while mentoring teammates through code reviews and pair programming

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience
• Expert knowledge of Ruby on Rails and its ecosystem, particularly for large-scale applications
• Proficiency with front-end technologies such as JavaScript, AngularJs, and React
• Strong experience with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL
• Experience maintaining applications in a cloud environment
