Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

To support the development of autonomous coding systems, the freelance Senior Software Engineer will design and refine workflows, evaluate AI-generated code, and create real-world coding challenges, all while working remotely and flexibly.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and refine agentic coding workflows for AI that autonomously plans, writes, tests, and iterates on code
• Evaluate AI-generated code for correctness, efficiency, security, and adherence to best practices
• Develop and improve evaluation frameworks and testing harnesses for agentic systems

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with real systems
• Proficiency in one or more major programming languages such as Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, C++, Go, or Rust
• Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and system design principles
• Deep familiarity with modern development workflows, including version control and CI/CD
• Genuine curiosity about AI and autonomous software development
