Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

To support the development of autonomous coding systems, the fully remote freelance Senior Software Engineer will design and refine workflows for AI that autonomously writes, tests, and iterates on code while evaluating AI-generated outputs for quality and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and improve agentic coding workflows for AI systems
• Evaluate AI-generated code for correctness, efficiency, and security
• Create real-world coding challenges to test agentic AI capabilities

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Proficiency in one or more major programming languages such as Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, C++, Go, or Rust
• Strong understanding of software architecture and design patterns
• Familiarity with modern development workflows, including version control and CI/CD
• Genuine curiosity about AI and autonomous software development
