Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

To support the development of impactful genetic insights, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will design, build, and operate backend services and data pipelines, leveraging AI tools to enhance feature delivery in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and operate backend services that convert raw genetic data into customer-facing results
• Utilize AI tooling to automate testing and improve CI/CD pipelines for efficient feature delivery
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into scalable systems

Required qualifications

• B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent with 4+ years of industry experience
• Proficiency in Python, including libraries, services, and data pipelines
• Experience with infrastructure as code, preferably using Terraform on AWS and Docker
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD deployment pipelines and testing frameworks
• Familiarity with operating distributed systems at scale, including debugging and performance tuning
