Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Focused on enhancing developer productivity, the full-time Senior Software Engineer (AI-Native) will manage CI/CD pipelines, design AI-native testing strategies, and build the Hireology Developer Portal, all while working remotely with a preference for candidates near Chicago.

Key responsibilities

• Own pipeline performance to achieve 10 or more production deployments daily, diagnosing and eliminating bottlenecks
• Design and implement an AI-native testing strategy that accommodates AI-generated code at scale
• Build and maintain the Hireology Developer Portal, ensuring it serves external developers effectively with comprehensive documentation and integration tools

Required qualifications

• 5 or more years of software engineering experience, particularly in developer tooling or platform engineering
• Hands-on proficiency in multiple languages and frameworks, including Next.js, .NET, Go, and Ruby on Rails
• Demonstrated experience improving CI/CD pipeline performance and automated test infrastructure
• Experience with Azure cloud infrastructure and infrastructure-as-code tooling
• Proficiency with AI-native development tools, specifically Claude Code or similar frameworks
