Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

To support the Actions Sustaining Team, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will diagnose, develop, and deploy solutions for challenges in deployed autonomous software, collaborating cross-functionally and enhancing tooling and automation, with the flexibility to work remotely or from locations in Boston, Pittsburgh, or Las Vegas.

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct technical discovery to analyze complex issues within the Planning and Controls stack
• Lead the development, testing, and deployment of immediate software fixes in response to business needs
• Identify and implement improvements in workflows through the development of internal tooling and automation scripts

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, or a related field; Master's or Ph.D. preferred
• 3+ years of proficiency in C++ software development, focusing on high-performance systems
• Experience with large, complex codebases emphasizing modularity and documentation
• Proven track record of delivering software in production environments, including familiarity with CI/CD and version control
• Passion for autonomous technology and understanding of the implications of deploying software in real-world scenarios
