Job Summary

Driving modernization efforts in a remote full-time capacity, the Senior Software Engineer will utilize AI tools to enhance legacy .NET systems, develop scalable APIs, and ensure high-quality software delivery while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Leverage AI agents for framework upgrades, refactors, and documentation while maintaining code quality
• Modernize legacy .NET and SQL Server applications, focusing on performance and API architecture
• Collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to deliver software solutions that effectively address business challenges

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in building and shipping production systems
• Proficiency in C# and modern .NET, particularly in large codebases with refactoring experience
• Strong SQL Server skills, including schema design and performance troubleshooting
• Experience with cloud platforms, particularly Azure or AWS
• Familiarity with API design and service-oriented architectures
