Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Collaborating with product team members, the remote Senior Software Engineer will develop and maintain applications while driving the technical vision for key product areas through clean, efficient code and best engineering practices.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a growing set of applications and features in collaboration with the product team
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while driving the technical vision for scalable systems
• Champion engineering best practices through code reviews and mentoring of teammates

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience
• Expert knowledge of Ruby on Rails and its ecosystem, particularly for large-scale applications
• Proficiency with front-end technologies such as JavaScript, AngularJs, and React
• Strong experience with relational databases, especially PostgreSQL
• Experience maintaining applications in a cloud environment
