Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Senior Software Engineer to work remotely, who will design, develop, and deliver high-quality backend services and APIs primarily using Go (Golang), while collaborating with a global team to ensure technical excellence and software quality.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the design, development, and delivery of backend services and APIs
• Develop and maintain automated tests for backend services as functionality evolves
• Architect and maintain scalable services for deployment in Kubernetes environments

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of production experience using Go (Golang) to build APIs
• Strong proficiency with Kubernetes and experience with GCP, particularly data-centric services
• 5+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on backend development
• Experience providing technical guidance and support to other engineers
• Familiarity with Change Data Capture (CDC) frameworks, like Debezium
